Baker to Vegas

Twenty runners.
Twenty names.
One night.

March 20–21, 2027, we will run 120 miles of Mojave highway from Baker, California to Las Vegas, Nevada — through the day, through the night, and into Sunday morning. Each of us will carry the name of an officer who did not come home.

Running for the Fallen

Nobody runs alone

The relay divides into twenty stages. Runners each take a piece of the road.

Those names will be carried on the back of each runner’s shirt through their assigned stage of the race. It is a privilege to be given permission to represent an officer, and that permission is the family’s to give. Each family decides how the name is written, and families are invited to meet the runner carrying the name of their loved one.
